Cairns Regional Council is presenting a plethora of live music over the next month under the guise of Cairns Festival. The Festival has been launched at it’s official headquarters, the old Courthouse building in Abbott st Cairns.
Along with regular council venues The Tanks and Munro Martin Parklands, extra stages will be setup on the front lawn of the Old Courthouse and on The Esplanade, where music lovers will be treated to performances by Bullhorn, Manuka, Jaguar Jones, Bob Morgan and many more.
All tastes will be catered for throughout the festival from singer/songwriter acts to the heavier end of the music spectrum when “Heavy Hitters” is staged at the Tanks Art’s Centre on the 31st of August.
