Local singer-songwriter Drew Brauer, fondly known by audiences as ‘Drewboy’ has launched his debut Album along with his debut music video with his newly formed band “The Sax Addicts” at the Jack a few weeks back
The music video for Drewboy & The Sax Addicts first Triple J Unearthed release “Feel Alright” was also released at the launch party on the big screens at The Jack. The video showcases Cairns own picturesque Trinity Beach and has found great success very early with over 27,000 views within the first few days of its release online. It has now also been picked up by American independent live stream music video channel www.thecooltv.com
With a reach of over 49 million in the USA and about to launch in Asia this is huge and exciting international exposure for the local Cairns band.
The band currently has two songs available for free download on www.triplejunearthed.com/artist/drewboy-and-sax-addicts which have both instantly climbed to the top of the overall charts and have stayed there ever since.
Drewboy & The Sax Addicts are about to start their second music video which will also be aired on www.thecooltv.com and are planning on playing local shows and also travelling south for some of the larger festivals.
