From a solo acoustic artist to fully fledged band frontman, Townsville singer-songwriter Jacob Long has been confidently carving his name into the local soundscape since 2013.

Drawing inspiration from the styles of Ed Sheeran, Kings of Leon, The Script and The Fray, Jacob’s catchy brand of alterna-pop will get under your skin (and stuck in your head).

His 2013 debut single Lost My Phone was a clear introduction to the 24-year old’s colourful sound and quirky lyricism. Jacob followed with the release of his self-titled EP in 2014, firmly securing his place as a North Queensland export-quality product (like Innisfail’s bananas, only not as yellow).
