One of Cairn’s favourite party bands are set to release their long anticipated self titled 5 track EP. Their labour of love will be unleashed to the public in an extravaganza of local original music as they are joined by some of the cream of local Cairns Talent.

The Dialers have been slaving away at big sister studio over the past months to produce their debut EP. The carefully selected tracks are a culmination of the last few years of packing out dance floors throughout FNQ and beyond. There is an unmistakeable influence of the far north in their reggae infused sun soaked island grooves. The urban tourist mecca they call home augments and influences the arranging and writing with some gritty funk and hip hop that creates their unique sound. This is the sound that The Dialers have delivered in 5 tracks that are just a taste of what they have to offer and that never fails to get the house rockin’.

On the bill with ‘The Dialers’ is a stella line up of talent including good friends and fellow party people ‘In The Element’ who are always a crowd pleaser. ‘Machine Machine’, a bunch of youngster ready to take you on a sonic journey and to round the night out for your aural pleasure DJ’s ‘Cam Kennedy’ and ‘Daddy Long Legs’.

The night kicks off at 7pm this Friday July 1 at the Tigers Football Club, Corner McNamara & Behan Streets, Manunda. $15 on the door and delicious African influenced food from Afeme Café
