With their minimalist style, Lady Valiant weaves together the soulful essence of the Deep South with a modern rock twist, resulting in an original sound that captivates audiences. The band’s arsenal includes dirty slide guitar, raw and soulful vocals backed by a rock solid rhythm section engine room that establishes their authentic and powerful presence on stage.
Lady Valiant have graced various festivals, such as Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival, Mitchell Creek Rock & Blues, Wallaby Creek Festival, Black Mountain UnPlugged, Tablelands Folk Festival, Yackandandah Folk Festival. They have supported renowned artists like Ash Grunwald, Jon Stevens & You Am I. Their fusion of Delta Blues with a contemporary rock edge sets them apart, making them a force to be reckoned with.
Supporting the ‘Vals in this performance are local band Mas Minimals and solo legend Stu Harcourt. Drawing influence from Desert Rock, Blues & Alternative Music, Mas Minimals deliver their own unique brand of swamp and garage rock, with punchy riffs and catchy arrangements to make your foot stomp. Stu Harcourt has been a solo touring for over 20 years seeing him perform all over Australia and internationally, in that time has 10 releases to his credit. Stu’s toasty warm vocals at times burning guitar work all grounded with some soulful didgeridoo creating an earthy experience in good humour embracing life.
