JuJu Moon have released their new album Reap this week on all digital platforms. It’s a hot and spicy one with an upbeat contemporary vibe featuring punchy horns, soaring vocals and lots of groovy guitar throughout. Songwriters Ian and Karen Stewart have been working on it for a few years now in their studio Turtleday Productions at South Mission Beach and couldn’t be happier with the twelve tracks.
“In reflection we have realised that there’s a lot of classic JuJu vibes going on with songs – they’re quirky, make you smile, dance and feel joy. There’s also quite a few personal songs which have a bit of a darker, ironic feel and a touch of nostalgia. It’s an interesting mix and we can’t wait to set it free for the world to hear” – Ian and Karen Stewart, songwriters of JuJu Moon.
They’re holding a launch party at Mission Beach this Saturday 19th October. and it’s sure to be a fun night. Make a weekend of it and head on down for some good times with the band.
