The Brazilians have just released a new single and accompanying video for the Sabbathy, fuzz laden ear worm ‘The Flower Children That Refuse To Wilt’ – the bands first new music since their 2021 sophomore album ‘Black Wolf’.
When asked about the song Todd Macalpine (lead guitarist and vocals from The Brazilians) replied..
“The Flower Children That Refuse To Wilt is a pretty recent song for us, and one of the first we have written with new drummer Big Trev Takkos. It started out as a bit of an experiment.. I wanted to try and write a song kind of like The Beatles, ‘Come Together’ or ‘I Am The Walrus’ that is basically a bunch of cool psychedelic imagery that doesn’t necessarily mean anything tactile, and in true Brazilians style, the guitars just got louder and heavier the more we progressed with the song”
You can catch The Brazilians live at the Panda Room Big Night Out gig on 15th of Oct, along with 4 other awesome bands.
The track can be downloaded and streamed on all the usual places HERE. Check the filmclip out below..
