After a brief break, Resonate will be back bigger and better to where it all again at it’s original home at Cairns Courthouse Hotel. Starting Sunday the 26th of June, Resonate will be back for the ultimate Sunday session every week at Cairns Courthouse from 2pm to 6pm. That’s right, Resonate has now grown to 4 acts each week instead of the traditional 3.

Pandamonium Records started Resonate at Cairns Courthouse Hotel back in 2003, where it lived for several years, outlasting a few changes in ownership and management. The balmy tropical atmosphere of the Courthouse Hotel’s front lawn was the ideal place to host the iconic weekly gig. Pandamonium Records looks forward to bringing the norths best singer songwriters back to the Courthouse Hotel with the new weekend daytime format.

Easily Cairn’s longest running original music gig, Resonate became a local institution with Dan Sultan, Emma Louise, Danny Ross, Steve Towson and many more having all played Resonate early in their careers.

The gig has also hosted countless touring and local original acts over the years. Resonate has become well known on the touring circuit with many touring bands passing through stripping back to a few members to get an extra gig while in town and making their tour more financially viable.

All acts playing Resonate are paid.
