The Whisky boat sets sail this week at Resonate, it’s been a while since the trio graced the Resonate stage and we look forward to welcoming them back. Whisky Boat singer Lauren has had recent success with the Hillbilly Goats, and it’s great to see her back in the saddle singing her own songs, and what a treat they are. Strong melodies, and hooks galore.
Stars of stage and screen, and Resonate favourites with punters and staff alike Bosko & Honey will be playing the 8.20 set this week. You may have seen the dynamic uke duo recently on national TV show “Australia’s Got Talent” when they floored the judges and immediately got through to the next round. We look forward to catching up with them and hearing about their adventures in TV land!
Brealyn Sheehan will be playing the 9.30 set this week. Brea is just about to release her new CD “Temptations Door” and will be launching it at Crate59 in Sheridan st on the 16th of April. I have been fortunate enough to receive an advance copy of the album and can you tell you it is a cracker. Come down to the Grand on Thursday night and get a live preview of some of the tracks. Brea will be accompanied on stage by guitarist Johnny, and Papa Stanley on upright bass.
Resonate is staged every Thursday night at the Grand Hotel in Cairns. Resonate blasts off at 7.00pm and entry is free!
