Ju Ju Moon will be playing the 7.00pm set at Resonate this week the 28th of April. Hailing from Mission Beach, Karen and Ian from Ju Ju Moon are one of those acts that just get better each time you see them. Their great harmonies, rythmic guitar, soaring sax lines, and great original songs are always popular with the Resonate crowd. Don’t miss em, great fun.
BLCK Bird will be playing the 8.20 set at Resonate this week. With her mesmerising vocal ability and a collection of impressive originals, BLCK Bird’s musical style has been likened to that of The Waifs and American singer-songwriter Natalie Merchant. It’s been a while since BLCK Bird has graced the Resonate stage and we look forward to welcoming her back this Thursday.
Katie Jay will be playing the 9.30 set this week. Katie won the 2014 Songwriters Award at the Tablelands Folk Festival with her song “The River”, the same song that she was then invited to share on Balcony TV early in 2015. Late in 2015 Katie Jay, along with her band The Code were invited to perform at The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco for a benefit concert for the Owsley Stanley Foundation alongside a bunch of musical legends.
