Another great Sunday arvo was had by all with a full deck at the Grand Hotel last Sunday. The Blues special seemed to go down well, and looks like becoming a monthly do.
This coming Sunday the 21st of Jan is shaping up to be another great Sunday arvo at the Grand. Greg Anderson, one of the godfathers of the local original music scene will be kicking the afternoon off at 3pm. Greg has played in seminal NQ original bands The Unknown, Gulf Club, and Meta 4. He is currently listed in the Australian “Who’s who Of Rock N Roll” book for his single with Gulf Club. Don’t miss Greg’s always entertaining set of songs from throughout his career.
A Newcomer to Resonate, Fraser Yuill Scott will be playing the 4pm set this week. Fraser “Yuill Scott” scottish born Singer/songwriter has been performing for 15 years with supports such as Artic monkeys, Snow patrol, Cat Empire just to name a few, pulling styles from folk/pop to pshycadelica, played in some of the best venues all over the world, 8 tours of Australia, and has 100+ original songs under his belt. We look forward to welcoming Fraser to the Resonate stage!
Eddie Skiba will be playing the 5pm set this week at Resonate. Eddie Skiba is no stranger to the Resonate stage and his catchy, well crafted songs always go down a treat with the Resonate crowd. Eddie’s most recent release “Blend On The Border” is a cracker, and he is reportedly readying some new music and shows with his band in the coming year.
Resonate kicks off at 3pm every Sunday at the Grand Hotel Cairns. Entry is free.
