Irene R Barrett interviews Mia Dyson ahead of her show at the Tanks on Friday night with Dyson, Stringer & Cloher.

Mia Dyson, Liz Stringer and Jen Cloher are three names synonymous with great song writing and powerful live performances.

In 2013 Dyson, Stringer and Cloher claimed their place on the Australian live music scene with an extensive 35 date tour of Australia. To commemorate the shows, they released an EP of brand new songs making many reviewers ‘Best Of’ lists. With eleven albums, ARIA Awards, Australian Music Prize short listings and countless other accolades between them, all three songwriters have forged careers in Australia and overseas to an ever growing audience.

Sharing one band they’ll play songs from their critically acclaimed albums as well as new songs they’ve written especially for these shows. This is also a TANK 4 UP LATE evening; with special guest Leanne Tennant performing after the show, in the gallery.
