If you missed last weeks awesome Resonate, sucks to be you. Michelle Walker, Susan Lily and Tim Woodz all delivered magic sets. We take a break from the touring acts this week with a great lineup of local talent playing Resonate this Thursday night at the Grand Hotel. If you are yet to lose your Resonate cherry, why not drop in on Thursday night and see what all the fuss is about?
First up at 7.30 filling in for Ju Ju Moon who were originally scheduled but had to cancel due to family illness is Katie Jay. Whether it’s performing solo, with her band the Code or playing lead role in the theatrical version of “Legally Blonde” most Cairns Folk would be familiar with Katie’s awesome vocal abilitys. Katie’s set kicks off at 7.00pm, don’t miss it!
Playing the 8.20 slot this week is Paul and Jo from Summer Rhyme. Paul and Jo played a great set when they made their Resonate debut a while back and Paul tells me their keyboard player may be Joining them again this time.
Back from his recent CD release gigs for at the Tanks and in Melbourne Eddie Skiba will be playing the 9.30 set this week. Eddie has recently released his new CD “Blend On The Border” and will be playing tracks from that and of course favourites from his back catalogue.
