Multi award-winning Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy is ready to embark on the tour he’s been waiting his whole career for. Joined by his full band, and some very special guests, the tour will see Vance travelling across Australia for more than two months, playing regional towns and major cities from early September to late November 2022. All shows will be all-ages events.
 
The tour announcement comes off the back of Vance Joy’s five ARIA Award nominations, including Best Artist, Best Pop Release for his latest hit, Missing Piece, and Song of the Year.

Missing Piece – a rousing song for our times about navigating long distance relationships and the euphoria of reuniting – became Vance Joy’s seventh Top 40 hit in Australia, is Top 5 at Alt Radio in the US and Canada and was featured in iconic US TV show Grey’s Anatomy. Vance Joy recently performed the song on The Late Late Show with James Corden, performing from the Antoni Gaudí building, Casa Vicens, in Barcelona, and Missing Piece will make its Australian TV debut with a performance on The Sound on ABC TV and ABC iview this Sunday night at 5.30pm.
 
The Long Way Home Tour will be an unforgettable homecoming for one of Australia’s favourite artists. In the tour that he’s always dreamed of, and his biggest Australian tour yet, Vance Joy will give us all a chance to finally come together again and celebrate the best of Australian music. This promises to be one of 2022’s most special events.
