Are you thinking about recording your first EP? On Saturday the 9th of January The Tanks Arts Centre is conducting a workshop that will take you through the steps involved in making your CD release a winner.

You will gain valuable information from professional Music Publicists Eva Roberts & Jamie Conley from Hot Off The Press Publicity; Music Marketer and Graphic Designer, Kain Shepherd; and Spotlight Coordinator and Musician Leanne Tennant.

Each participant will also receive a publicity shot taken on the day by professional photographer Nick De Gabriele to keep and use in future marketing. You will also receive one-on-one time with the speakers for specific advice on your particular project.

This looks like a great opportunity for local acts. Lots of people want to record and album or E.P, but a lot of musos don’t realise that’s only a part of the process. There is much more involved.
