It’s happening again!, great to see some locals getting together to put on a great day of local original entertainment. The Stratford Bowls club has become somewhat of a special venue for local music lovers, you can check out the origins of these gigs in this story we published a while back

The Zephyrbees are happy to have invited a diverse line-up of musicians along to their event celebrating 2 band member Beedays on Saturday the 16th of Feb. Stratford Lawn Bowls Club a great place to unwind and have a bloody good time on your weekend. There are lawn bowls to throw! There are great people to meet. If you’ve ever been to a summer sets then you know its like a house party from 2008. No doubt you’ll enjoy the scene the lads have built at this special venue.

It’s like a mini festival, and it’s a growing movement that the krew of original bands / artists all love and respect. We ask you to come down, invite your mates along and show your support for our local music scene here in Cairns.

There is a cry-out in FNQ for a great night of original music and The Zephyrbees are putting it on at Stratford Bowls Club and it’s only $5 to get in, $1 goes to each band and you can enjoy cheap drinks and quality music while you play bowls and chat to some like minded down to earth people. According to The Zephyrbees “We want new artists and new people to show their faces and ask about getting a spot at the next event. We’d love to showcase the real talent of FNQ at our venue and provide a place for people to connect and collaborate”
