The growing crowds at Resonate each week are testament to the fact that if you put on quality acts, make them sound and look good, the punters will come. We are doing it again this week with three quality acts for your musical pleasure.
Whether you know Tim Wright from his days with early 2000’s indie rock outfit “Function” or his recent work fronting King Pig, or even his job as affable presenter for Balcony TV, there is no denying Tim’s song crafting abilities. Tim will be playing the 7.00pm slot at this weeks Resonate.
Whiskey Boat sets sail again this Thursday night at Resonate. Whiskey Boat are a duo consisting of Lauren Butler and Adam Roberts that used to be popular back at the old Resonate gigs. Lauren, who has had success with the Hillbilly Goats, is back in the saddle singing her own songs, and what a treat they are. Strong melodies, soaring vocals and hooks galore. Whisky Boat set sail at 8.20pm, don’t miss this voyage!
Drewboy and Matty had the crowd jumping a few weeks back and will be playing the 9.30pm slot this week. Rumour has it that Gus Fernandez will be joining the boys again this Thursday night on drums. Drewboy and Matty just got back from a headline show at Brisbane Urban Roots, and recently supported Ash Grunwald at the Jack.
