Screamfeeder – Take You Apart

Brisbane indie-pop favourites, Screamfeeder, are setting out on an extensive national tour, stopping in at Tanks on May 22, to remind audiences why they are indisputably one of Australia’s best rock outfits.

Anyone who has seen Screamfeeder live knows the sheer power of this band.

Their ability to deliver a feel-good rock show with intensity and integrity is legendary, and this tour is an opportunity to see them in one of Australia’s best live music venues.

Few bands strike a creative high six albums into their career, but that’s exactly what happened when Screamfeeder released Take You Apart in 2003.

With memorable tracks Take You Apart, Ice Patrol, 12345, Bunny and I Don’t Know What To Do Any More, this punchy, punky album yielded four high-rotation singles on triple j and cemented their popularity in the hearts and minds of their fans.

Fast forward to today, and the band have propelled this seminal album back into the stratosphere, remastered and repackaged, on their first-ever vinyl release, and are touring to celebrate!

Screamfeeder play Tanks Arts Centre on Friday 22 May. Tickets cost $25 or $20 for concessions and tickets are available through Ticketlink
