Spotlight Sessions returns with a night dedicated to original music and emerging artists from Far North Queensland.

This session features a powerful lineup of grassroots talent, blending country, reggae, hip hop, funk, rock and more live at Elixir Music House.

RAINFOREST BOOGIE

Heartfelt country and rootsy reggae led by Cairns-based frontman Steven Simon (Harrigan). Raised in Kuranda and from Cape York, Steven’s songs reflect real life, personal journeys, and the spirit of Far North Queensland.

PHAT LOVE

A collective of local artists blending hip hop, rock, funk and genre-bending grooves into a seamless, high-energy live sound that moves any crowd.

ENEMY OF ANEMONE

An alternative rock project from Cairns North Queensland, fusing progressive rock, rhythm and blues, hip hop, jazz and a saltwater gypsy spirit. Featuring Josh McGregor (guitar, songwriter), Adrian Mortison (bass), and Coby Raybould (drums).
